1. Event and Exhibition
1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By attending the Tastefully Food and Health Exhibition organized by Tastefully Malaysia, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.2  Assumption of Risk

Visitors acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in food tasting and other activities at their own risk. The event organizer is not liable for any adverse reactions or injuries.

1.3  Health and Safety

• Health Declarations: Visitors must declare any known food allergies or dietary restrictions before participating in food tastings.
• Compliance: All exhibitors must comply with local health and safety regulations to ensure the food is safe for consumption.

1.4  Liability Waiver

Visitors release the event organizer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the event, including but not limited to food-related illnesses or injuries.

1.5  Indemnification

• Visitor Indemnification: Visitors agree to indemnify and hold the event organizer harmless from any claims or damages resulting from their participation.
• Exhibitor Indemnification: Exhibitors must indemnify the event organizer against any claims arising from the food they provide.

1.6  Medical Assistance

• Emergency Procedures: In case of an adverse reaction or emergency, visitors should seek medical assistance immediately. The event organizer is not responsible for providing medical assistance.
• Medical Disclaimer:Visitors are responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

1.7  Code of Conduct

• Behavioural Expectations: Visitors are expected to behave respectfully towards exhibitors and other visitors.
• Consequences for Misconduct: The event organizer reserves the right to remove any visitor who violates these terms or engages in inappropriate behaviour.

1.8  Photography and Media

• Consent for Photography: By attending the event, visitors consent to being photographed or filmed. The event organizer may use these images for promotional purposes.
• Use of Images: Images and videos taken during the event may be used in marketing materials, social media, and other promotional channels.

1.9  Force Majeure

The event organizer is not liable for any cancellations or modifications to the event due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other events beyond their control.

1.10  Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Applicable Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through mediation or arbitration.

1.11  Amendments

The event organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Visitors will be notified of any changes through the event’s official communication channels.

2. Member Registration
2.1 Introduction 

Welcome to Tastefully Malaysia. By registering as a member, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2.2 Registration and Membership

• Eligibility: Registration is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
• Registration Process: Complete the registration form with accurate and current information.
• Membership Benefits: As a registered member, you will receive updates, newsletters, and exclusive offers related to the exhibition.

2.3 Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) Consent

• Data Collection: By registering, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes of event management, marketing, and communication.
• PDPA Notice stated as below.

2.4 Marketing Consent

• Promotional Materials: By registering, you agree to receive promotional materials and updates from us and our partners.

2.5 Code of Conduct

• Behaviour: All visitors are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Compliance: Visitors must comply with all rules and regulations set by the exhibition organizers.

2.6 Liability

• Disclaimer: The organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by visitors during the event.
• Indemnity: Visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers from any claims arising from their participation in the event.

2.7 Amendments

• Changes to Terms: The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered visitors.

3. Lucky Draw
3.1 Eligibility 

The lucky draw is open to individuals aged 18 and above who are residents of Malaysia. Employees of Tastefully Malaysia, exhibitors, event crews, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3.2 Entry Requirements 

• To enter the lucky draw, participants must complete the registration form available at Tastefully Malaysia member portal.
• All details and particulars submitted in this lucky draw must be accurate, true, and complete. Incomplete, inaccurate, or illegible entry form(s) will be disqualified.
• Each participant is limited to one entry. Entries must be submitted within the specified time frame. Late entries will not be considered.
• Only single/combined original receipts from Tastefully Exhibitors on the same day can be accepted.

3.3 Prize Details 

All prizes won are non-transferable and non-exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

3.4 Winner Selection 

• Winners will be selected through a random draw conducted on expo days.
• Winners will announce on the expo days of the draw. Prizes must be claimed during the same expo days, unless specific prizes stated by sponsor or vendor can be claimed within 14 days of notification.
• Each winner is only entitled to win one prize, regardless of how many times their lucky draw is picked.
• Winners (aged 18 and above) are required to show their Original IC to collect the prize. No representative or third party is allowed to collect the prizes on their behalf.

3.5 Publicity 

By participating, entrants agree to the use of their names and likenesses for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

3.6 Data Protection 

Personal data collected will be used for the purposes of administering the lucky draw and in accordance with our privacy policy. By entering, participants consent to receive marketing communications from Tastefully Malaysia. Participants can opt-out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the communications.

3.7 General Conditions

Tastefully Malaysia reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who engages in fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants.

3.8 Governing Law

This lucky draw is governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Tastefully Malaysia, as the organizer of the Tastefully Food Expo, takes every effort to ensure that all information provided through its website and related materials is accurate and up to date. However, Tastefully Malaysia does not accept responsibility or liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies that may occur.

By attending the Tastefully Food Expo, visitors and members acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at their own risk. Tastefully Malaysia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the expo, including but not limited to physical injury, loss, damage to property, or any other harm resulting from the event.

Furthermore, any opinions, advice, or information presented during the event or on the website are solely for informational purposes. Tastefully Malaysia makes no warranties or guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of such content, and any reliance on this information is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

Tastefully Malaysia reserves the right to alter, amend, or cancel any part of the expo or related materials without prior notice. All content on the website is protected, and unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content, in part or in whole, without express written permission from Tastefully Malaysia, is strictly prohibited.
